Continuing education program TEKNO

Lappeenranta University of Technology is organising a continuing education program in mechanical engineering. TEKNO-program begins in Turku during autumn 2013 and continues until spring 2015. The purpose of the program is to improve the international competitiveness of the technology industry in Southwest Finland by developing the skills and know-how of companies and their employees. With the help of The Federation of Finnish Technology Industries,  Turku Chamber of Commerce and representatives of local businesses, the content of the program has been tailored to meet the specific needs of the region.

The program is targeted to people with degree in mechanical engineering. Those who complete the program can apply to continue their studies at Lappeeranta University of Technology as Master's degree students. The structure of the studies has been organised in a way that makes it easy people in employment to participate.

An info event about the program is organised on March 5th, 2013 from 9am onwards at the premises of Machine Technology Center Turku Ltd. (Lemminkäisenkatu 28, 20520 Turku). The event is targeted to companies but is open to anyone interested in the program. In addition, three open info events will be organised in the afternoon (3pm, 4:30pm and 6 pm) at the Hansa Emporium shopping center.
